The Tail:
tail held high: happy, confident, dominance
tail held straight out (often bristling): anger, defence
tail flicking: annoyance
tail normal: relaxed
tail under body: submission
Ears:
ears flat against head: anger, defense, surprise
ears relaxed: normal
ears held forward or high: alert
Face:
nuzzling: a greeting
licking and grooming: a greeting
teeth bared, ears back: defense, fear
teeth bared, ears forward: dominance, aggression
